CHEF AL SHAM THE ORIGINAL ARABIC FOOD IN TOWN

Life is about experiencing new things right?

I have never been to any Arabic restaurant before until I came across Chef Al sham.

The owner

For a Monday night the place was pretty empty.

Everything on the menu looked DELISH!

We ordered Beef Kabab with vegetables, Chicken Biryani it looks like pianggang and its super yummy and flavorful! We also had sambosa which was really delicious.

Beef Kabab

Chicken Biryani 150.00

Beef Sambosa 100.00

The food was so drooling and we honestly loved all our meals.

We finished the meal with shisha, it cost for only 120.00 we got strawberry mix with double mint and it was divine  after like how many coal changes it still taste great.

The only thing I think wasn't A+ was the coal for our shisha it kept going out way too quick, good thing the owner was very attentive and helpful so we don't have to call them to come over and changed the coals.

The owner was great too they gave us arabic tea for free!

Overall the food is great and worth the price. We enjoyed our dinner here and the service was wonderful as well. I'm not an expert of Arabic food but I can say that I really loved all the food we ordered. Two Thumbs up!

BARNYARD COUNTRY COFFEE

I love the vibe of chill, cozy, coffee shops. They make my heart happy.

I heard about the coffee shop's existence through a post on Facebook. I was going through my Facebook news feed I noticed a post from One Zamboanga Page where they feature this new Coffee shop in Zamboanga called the Barnyard Country Coffee.

This is one cool spot! I love the cozy barn feel of this place, I loved the set up of the space. We felt welcomed and was served very quickly.

Indeed a great place to stop, to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee and relax, read a book or catch up with loved ones.

I think brick walls really work in coffee shops. It's so nice here. I love the idea of the sliding barn doors aahh I just love these vintagey country style decors and feeling!

Iced Coffee Vanilla Latte 65.00

Delicious latte and excellent customer service. My sister ordered an iced coffee vanilla latte and it was so tasty. The General manager was so helpful and friendly. He brought our drinks to us and he cares about everyone who walks through the cafe door.

Blueberry cheese cake 110.00

Fries 25.00

Red Velvet 90.00

Sikwate 50.00

I tried blueberry cheesecake and fries, both were good and I definitely recommend them. John also ordered sikwate, more commonly known as tablea and red velvet.

I love the hanging lights, they create a gorgeous atmosphere.

The coffee shop open as early as 7 in the morning. Oh, and they also serves breakfast between 7 to 10am!

Overall experience was great. This place had a very relaxed and super chill vibe! Plus the manager was extremely friendly and informative. Would recommend 100%! I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Zamboanga's first ever Bridal Fair 2015

It's the first ever bridal fair in the city.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I attended my first bridal show. I tag along with my older sister Cricel, her fiancĂ© Leonardo whose wedding was quickly approaching and with my boyfriend John Nuel.

                     My boyfriend and me :)

                    My sister and her fiancĂ©

I wasn’t really in planning mode yet I was just excited to be doing something wedding-related.

The idea of going to a bridal fair and being surrounded by all that white, and monograms gave me hives. The vibe was relaxed and friendly and a few of the more outgoing vendors would ask "Are you getting married?" If they caught your eye. There were number of couples together as well as ladies with their girls.

Meeting with many wedding professional in one location is really a great opportunity cause you get the chance to talk one on one with different vendors. On top of all that... You get a free taste.. And a free photo-booth picture.

We walked away from the bridal show with a lot of flyers, pamphlets and business cards.

It was really an awesome experience. I heard the next bridal fair will be on March of 2016. I surely won't miss it. :)
